Trim 10 Mile
Longford AC were proudly represented at the annual Trim 10 mile road race on Sunday.

Adrianna Mulligan continued her preparations for the Seville marathon with another fine run in 59:15 and the third lady home.

Paddy Sharkey was the first Longford man past the finishing line closely followed by Enda Farrell, Colin Beades and our coach Donal Mulligan who will be joining Adrianna on the starting line in Seville.

There were also fine runs by Edel Nolan achieving a personal best over the distance and Charlie Barone as he gets his running shoes back on.

Interval training

Interval training continues on Tuesday evening. Fun, tears, mental and physical benefits guaranteed as Donal puts us through the mill. Group run Thursday evening and Saturday morning. New members always welcome.

Cross Country
Most Longford schools were represented last week at the North Connacht Secondary Schools event in Ballymote including a number of club members. Qualifiers can now look forward to the Connacht finals in Loughrea later in February. Good luck to all Longford AC athletes running at the club cross-country in Dundalk this Sunday.

Connacht Indoors
TUS Athlone will host the Juvenile and Senior Connacht Indoor Championships on February 24 and 25. Entries for club members to open this week. Registration link to the posted on the club website and Facebook page.
