Results Roundup
It was a successful day for club members at the annual Trim 10 mile on Sunday last. Thankfully, the weather cooperated and made for perfect running conditions. Several personal bests for the distance were achieved including by Ross Gannon, John Scott, Patryk Prusak, Enda Coffey, Anne McDermott, Barry Hall and Jacqueline Mahon. There were also strong performances from Paddy Sharkey, Enda Farrell, Edel Nolan and Michael O’Hara. Great running all around, especially from those taking on the distance for the first time and those who came away with personal bests.

Robin Og and Molly Murphy made the trip to Guadix in southern Spain at the weekend for the latest round of the World Athletics Race Walking Tour. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Guadix event on Sunday saw almost fifty Irish racewalkers take part across a range of distances. Robin Og competed well in the Under-18 5km for a fifth-place finish and more valuable international racing experience. Molly continued her development in the race walks with a strong showing in the U14 2km.
