Training: Juvenile and Little Athletics return at the Mall on Friday, 3 September at 6.30pm. Each of the training groups are now full. All children attending must be registered members with membership processed at the link emailed already to parents. Tuesday intervals for senior members have resumed and meet at the Mall at 6.30pm.
Good Luck: Best wishes to Yemi Talabi who has travelled to the US having secured a scholarship at the University of Texas at Arlington. We look forward to following Yemi’s progress as part of the UTA Mavericks Track and Field team.
Results: Ciarán Madden performed well to finish fifth at the National Aquathon Championships in Coleraine. Barry Sheil was sixth in the Bohermeen 5-mile road race in Meath. Teresa Blake is keeping the times consistent at the Roscommon 5km series. Evan Radavicius earned a top 25 finish at the hilly Wicklow Way Half. Juraj Karcak completed a massive 167km in 25 hours as part of the Last One Standing event in Enniskillen. Closer to home, Christaan Snell and John Scott ran a 46km Parish Run to raise funds for the Edgeworthstown Group of Parishes. Well done all.
