Aaron Kelly was the club’s sole representative at the National Senior Indoors in Abbotstown. A time of 23.97 in his 200m heat on Saturday was followed by 7.37 clocking in the 60m heats on Sunday.
The Ardagh 10 mile and 5k road races took place on a blustery Saturday with several club members taking part. Among them was Fiona Gettings, first at the Turgesius 10 mile in Westmeath the previous week, who registered another win over the distance with a time of 64:35.

Sports Bursary
Congratulations to Funmi Talabi and Ciarán Madden who were both recent recipients of a Sports Bursary as awarded by Longford County Council in collaboration with Longford Sports Partnership. The award recognises young sports people who have the ability and potential to achieve success at national and international level.
