Race Walks Championship
The final national competition of 2024 took place at St. Anne’s Park in Dublin on Sunday with the race walks championship. Robin Óg Murphy capped off an excellent year to win the Under-18 5km title in a new personal best time of 25:57. Her younger sister Molly placed very well in the U14 2km while brother Tadhg did great in the U11 500m for his first ever race walking event. Conor Brennan added another national medal to his collection when winning bronze in a closely contested boys U14 2km.
