National Juvenile Track and Field Championships
Emma Brennan and Kevin Óg Murphy performed very well at the National Juvenile Track and Field Championships in Tullamore on Sunday. Despite the hot conditions, Emma ran strongly for a fast time in the Under-15 1500 metres to place seventh while Kevin Óg threw a personal best 9.99m in the Under-14 shot put. Well done both.
Ray Flynn Mile
This year’s event will be on Wednesday 21 September at 7pm held in and around St. Mel’s College. Registration is now open at the Pop-Up Races website.
Leinster Champions
Congratulations to the Longford minor ladies footballers, including club members Sián Gallagher, Funmi Talabi and Caoimhe Crossan, on their great win in the Leinster final. Good luck to the minor and Under-16 teams in their big upcoming games.
