Primary Schools Relays
The Co. Longford Primary Schools Relays take place on Friday 29 April at Clonguish GAA, Allen Park, Newtownforbes. Races are 4 x 200m for children in second class and older. The first race is off at 6.30pm with registration opening at 5.45pm. Schools are to have their relay teams selected in advance of the evening. There will be subs races for children not on a team as well as relay races for schools with 3 or less teachers. Information and the registration sheet have been sent to the schools and are on our website.
Results
Congratulations to Emma Brennan, representing Moyne CS, who was the winner of the minor girls race at the All-Ireland Community Schools Cross Country in Dublin on Friday. Well done to Fiona Gettings and Colleen Norris who both ran well at the first race of the Roscommon 5k series.
