Festive Roundup: The Christmas road racing period was a busy one with the annual MS Christmas Day Run, Shane Brennan 5k and the Ardagh Challenge taking place locally. Well done to all from Longford AC who competed. The club was well represented in each event and some podium finishes as well as age category wins were recorded. Many thanks to all the race organisers and those who helped in any way. On the track, Sarah McPhillips was the club’s sole entrant at the North West Games in AIT on December 28th. Sarah continued her good form with a time of 8.53 in the under 16 girls 60m.
