Gold for Nelvin: Congratulations to Nelvin Appiah who won gold at the National Junior (U20) Championships in Santry on Sunday last. Nelvin was a convincing winner of the 110m hurdles in a superb time of 14.55 despite running into a strong headwind. He showed excellent technique clearing each hurdle and would certainly have ran quicker than his 14.53 personal best in more favourable conditions. Another national title to add to his impressive collection and a great way to finish off the track season.
Training: Training for juvenile members continues on Friday at 6.30pm. Parents are required to complete the online form they have received, on behalf of their child, ahead of the session. Senior training on Tuesday evenings from the Mall resumes on September 22nd at 7pm.
