Longford AC had a strong representation at the Tony McGowan Run in Drumshanbo on Sunday last.
In the half marathon, John Scott placed third in 80 minutes while Anne Brady achieved a second place in her age category. Patryk Prusak took on the role of pacemaker while John Farrell and Colm Dooner recorded good times for the 21k distance.
Mervyn Graham, Charlie Barone, Paul Newell, Sandra Donaldson, Carmel Corr, Marian Dennigan and Jacqui Mahon took in the 10k route running well. Finn Manning and Marissa Hebron ran good races in the 5k.
