John Scott took the honours on Saturday when winning the Ros Run Marathon with another strong outing over the 26.2 mile distance. He crossed the line in 2:54 to take first place over 10 minutes clear of the field in Roscommon. Congrats John. Anne Brady placed in the top-ten in the half marathon with a good run clocking 1:38 as she continues preparation for the Limerick Marathon next month.
Juraj Karcak completed the Maurice Mullins 50k ultra on Saturday in an impressive 5:35. Over 2000 metres of elevation gain covered along the Wicklow Way and taking in two trips up Djouce Mountain.
On Sunday, Adrian Wróbel ran well at the Dunboyne 10k in a time of 38:26.
