On the roads, Martin Monaghan took in the Kilcock 10 mile on Sunday morning covering the distance in a good time. As well as clocking up the miles, Martin in his role as Municipal District Cathaoirleach spoke at the launch of the Longford Marathon during this week. It’s just one week to go until this year’s event as many club members wrap up preparations ahead of taking on their chosen distance.
The Trail Run series continued on Wednesday last in Derrycassin Woods and was again another success with good numbers attending.
This Wednesday sees the final 5km take place in Newcastle Woods starting at 7.30pm. Entry remains open at https://www.njuko.net/longford_trail_series_23/
