Mary Sloane selected on Connaught Cross Country Team

Congratulations and well done to Mary Sloane who was selected on the Connaught under 16 girls team at the Connaught Even Ages Cross Country Championships held in Ballina on Sunday 04^th November.  This was another excellent run by Mary and continues her good cross country running over the last number of years.  Mary ran an excellent race despite competing in her older age group as Mary is eligible for the under 15 age group.  Dearbhaile Rooney competed in the under 12 girls race and just missed out on making the Connaught team, this was an excellent run by Dearbhaile who has an excellent running style and no doubt we will hear more from her in the coming years.
