The 11th annual Longford Marathon, Half Marathon, 39 mile Ultra Marathon and Marathon Relay takes place over the weekend of Friday 24th August to Sunday 26th August.
The calendar of events for the weeked is as follows:
Friday 24th 7.30pm – 5K Fun Run starting and finishing at the Longford AC Club Headquarters – entries €5.00 on the night from 6:30pm at The Computer Clinic.
Saturday 25th – Breakfast fun run 1 mile lap around the town at 10am starting and finishing at St. Christophers on Battery Road, followed by breakfast at St. Christophers. Free entry for all runners.
Sunday 26th – 9.30am – Marathon Walk starts
Sunday 26th – 9.30am – Ultra Marathon starts
Sunday 26th – 11am – Marathon Runners start
Sunday 26th – 11am – Half Marathon starts
