Linda Byrne will run Longford AC 1/2 Marathon

London 2012 Olympian Linda Byrne will complete in the Longford AC 1/2 Marathon which is on Sunday 24th June. Linda competed in the 1/2 marathon last year and won the race with some class and this race was vital to her preparation for qualifying for London 2012. With London less than 2 months away, this race again is vital for her Olympic Marathon race preparation and everyone is looking forward to an outstanding run from her on what is an excellent course. Registration for the race can be completed on line at www.runireland.com or on the day from 10am at the Computer Clinic, Main Street, Longford. Race starts at 11am and post race refreshments are at the Computer Clinic. Entry fee is 20 euro which is excellent value. A number number of competitors are expected in this final race of the 2012 Summer Running Series. Runnners, joggers and walkers are welcome.
