On Sunday, there was a large turnout of young cross-country runners for training at Moyne CS. A good session ahead of next Sunday’s schools’ event. Great to see so many girls and boys interested in cross-country.
On their way to training two of our athletes, Adam and Dean Mulleady, met Eamonn Coghlan who was passing through Longford. The 1983 World 5000m Champion apparently passed on some good advice to the boys which could well inspire Drumlish NS to glory in Moyne next week!
