The family fun mile organized by the club as part of the Longford Marathon festival of running was held in the Mall Sports Complex on Saturday 25th August was a great success and something to build on for the future. Thanks to everyone in involved in the organization of the event. Even the sunshine played its part and was an enjoyable family event. Well done to all the participants who took part, there was really a nice atmosphere. Finally thanks to the Mall Sports Complex for the use of their facilities and to McDonalds for the sponsorship of the drinks and goody bags, these were appreciated by everyone.
