At the Connacht Secondary School Combined Events in Athlone last Thursday, Moyne CS students Sophia Carey and Sinead Masterson both earned podium placings with excellent showings across the different events during a long day of competition. Good performances also by Leah Waters, Alisha Manning and Conor Brennan (Moyne CS) and by Oisín Dillon (Lanesboro CC).
Well done to club coaches Paddy McPhillips (Moyne CS) and Sinead Creegan (Carrick CS) for their promotion of multi-events in the schools.
