The Connacht Indoors Track & Field Masters/Seniors Championships took place on Saturday 25th in Athlone. Edel Nolan, whose daughter Éabha competed earlier in the day in the Juveniles competition, won two age category medals with silver in the 60m and bronze in the 200m. Congrats to Edel, one of our Juvenile Athletics coaches, and a very notable feat to see a mother and daughter represent the Club at the Connacht Indoors.
Despite a couple of strong runs, Aaron Kelly narrowly missed out on a medal in the 60m and 200m.
There was a Masters double for the Club in the 3000m with Fiona Gettings and Barry Sheil both claiming gold.
