Gold Medallists for Longford AC: U11 Girls 4X100m Relay Team won 1st place at the Connacht Outdoor Championships in Claremorris, Co. Mayo last weekend. Funmi Talabi, Edgeworthstown, Ella Duggan, Newtownforbes, Kate Mac Entire, Dromard and Laura Farrell, Ardagh, ran an excellent race to beat 12 other teams for the set of Gold medals. The girls now progress on to compete in the Athletics Ireland National Juvenile Competition at the end of June in Tullamore.
