Longford AC U13 Boys Relay Team that captured Silver at the Connacht Outdoor Championships in Claremorris, Co. Mayo last weekend. Cathal Farrell and Brendan Finnan from Ardagh teamed up with Strokestown’s David McDonnell and Evan Moran to put in a strong 4X100m performance, time of 58.62. They will continue to train for the Athletics Ireland National Relay finals to be run in Tullamore in July.
U15 Boys Relay Team for Longford AC won 2nd place at the Connacht Outdoor Championships in Claremorris on 13th June 2015. Martin and Peter Parker from Strokestown, together with Daire McManus, Stonepark, and Adam Shields, Melview, put in a smooth team performance to bring home a set of Connacht Silver medals.
